American Dad!
In “Gifted Me Liberty,” Stan is determined to sniff out the Scrooge who failed to bring a gift to the CIA’s Secret Santa party. Elsewhere, Steve plays surrogate boyfriend to a few classmates.

SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, Freeform
Guilt
An American woman in London is suspected of murdering her roommate in this twisty thriller starring Daisy HeadEmily Tremaine, and Kaitlin’s Personal Hero Billy Zane. In the pilot, the accused gets some dubious assistance from her sister and a supremely shady lawyer.

9pm, Syfy
12 Monkeys
Jennifer Goines forms a ragtag anti-12-Monkeys outfit in “Hyena,” and also gets Cole’s help with a cunning plan to obtain the virus.

9pm, TNT
Rizzoli & Isles
“Cops vs. Zombies” finds the team probing a murder at a zombie convention, which has to make one wonder what degree of homicide it’s considered when you kill the undead. In search of braaaaaains in a different way is Angela, who decides to pursue her GED.

9pm, TBS
Angie Tribeca
A spate of suspicious drownings spurs Geils to go undercover as a lifeguard in “Beach Blanket Sting-O.”

9pm, The CW
Whose Line Is It Anyway?
When guest star Yvette Nicole Brown and guest comic Gary Anthony Williams get together, it’s a real Odd Couple situation! Speaking of which, don’t miss Yvette Nicole Brown on The Odd Couple, only on CBS, America’s Most Watched Network! [Can I have my check now, Mr. Moonves?]

9pm, Fox
Houdini & Doyle
Numerous victims are found literally scared to death, and Doyle could be next thanks to a nasty hallucinogen that causes intense nightmares, in Arkham “Bedlam.”

SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, CBS
BrainDead
Aliens infiltrate Capitol Hill and begin chowing down on congressional grey matter in this political horror-comedy from The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King, which TV.com’s own Noel Kirkpatrick calls “definitely a thing that exists.” “The Insanity Principle: How Extremism in Politics Is Threatening Democracy in the 21st Century” starts off the hijinks with a Washington, D.C., native (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) returning to the Beltway to work for her senator brother (Danny Pino). Aaron Tveit and Tony Shalhoub also star.

SEASON 5 PREMIERE, 10pm, TNT
Major Crimes
The team investigates the disappearance of a teen who had been volunteering at a homeless shelter. Pffft, typical troublemaking youths today, with their community service and their crazy apps. Elsewhere in “Present Tense,” Buzz reopens the cold case file on the murder of his father and uncle, while Andy Flynn considers putting his house on the market.

10pm, Lifetime
UnREAL
When Quinn and Chet try to steer the show in competing directions, the crew is caught in the middle, not unlike poor Elmer Fudd amidst yet another "duck season/rabbit season" row. Meanwhile in “Insurgent,” Rachel takes action to keep her promotion on track.

10pm, AMC
TURN: Washington’s Spies
With Washington’s army in a bit of a pickle, it’s the reconstituted Culper Ring to the rescue in “Mended.” Elsewhere, Simcoe’s search for Rogers wreaks havoc on Setauket, and Anna infiltrates New York.

Full Frontal With Samantha Bee
The show checks in on the Libertarian Party’s national convention, and stocks up on “I Went Galt and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt” souvenirs.
