“There’s No Crying in Softball” finds Mindy roped into joining the hospital-wide softball tournament, which throws a wrench into her weekend plans with her new beau.

Valerie wishes to escalate her friendship with fellow therapist Jennifer in “Such Good Friends.” Elsewhere, Alex mulls accepting an offer from a venture capitalist while Laura mulls joining a homeschool study group.

To Tell the Truth
Anthony Anderson hosts this latest incarnation of the comedic game show, with Betty Whiteand NeNe Leakes among the regular panelists and the host’s mother Doris acting as scorekeeper. In the opener, Anderson’s TV wife Tracee Ellis Ross joins the panel as they try and determine which of three individuals is telling the truth about some amazing tidbit of their life, and which are totally full of crap. Iliza Shlesinger guest stars in the second installment at 10pm.

Uncle Buck
Mike Epps steps into title role in this adaptation of the 1989 John Candy vehicle, about a charming ne’er-do-well who settles into suburban life with his brother’s family. The pilot sees Buck taking on the role of nanny to his nieces and nephew. Then in “Li’l Scarface,” Buck helps shy Maizy become a cookie-selling star.

SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm & 10pm, TNT
Animal Kingdom
Ellen BarkinScott Speedman, and Shawn Hatosy star in this 10-episode drama, based onthe 2010 film of the same name, which centers on a young man who gets drawn into his family’s larcenous world. After the first hour introduces the criminal clan, “We Don’t Hurt People” follows the fallout from their not entirely successful heist.

O.J.: Made in America
As racial tensions come to a head in early-’90s Los Angeles, O.J. Simpson keeps his distance and carefully maintains his image in the five-part documentary’s second installment.

Containment
Dr. Cannerts takes a big step toward a cure, while Katie and Jake uncover the truth about Patient Zero. Meanwhile in “There Is a Crack in Everything,” Jana and Suzy plan to escape the cordon through the city’s tunnel system, after their original plan to take the Warp Zone failed when it turned out to be an ordinary giant green pipe.

Wrecked
A commercial flight crash-lands on an island, where the survivors make a monumental discovery in the pilot of this comedy. Meanwhile, a British special forces agent leads a rescue mission. Then in “Rest in Peace Callaway Hinkle,” the survivors come upon a satellite phone, Danny confronts his past, Steve comforts Todd, and yet another monumental discovery is promised.

Person of Interest
WIth Reese and Shaw on his heels, Finch infiltrates a maximum-security government facility in “.Exe.” His mission could put an end to Samaritan once and for all—but he and the Machine may go down along with it.
