Netflix's Wet Hot American Summer Adds John Slattery, Josh Charles, and More

Netflix's upcoming Wet Hot American Summer series has added even more of your favorite actors to its already awesome cast.
According to Deadline, Josh Charles, John Slattery, Michaela Watkins, Randall Park, Jayma Mays, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, and Richard Schiff will all appear in the eight-part limited event. David Wain, who will reprise his role as director, will also play a role.
The 2001 film was set in 1981 and followed the counselors and campers on the last day of a fictional Jewish summer camp. The new series will reportedly take place on the first day of the same camp. Charles will play someone from a rival camp, Huebel will play a rival professor of David Hyde Pierce's character, and Schiff will play Pierce's academic superior. Watkins will play a tough New Yorker, Park will play a librarian who's in love with Molly Shannon's character, who's newly single, Scheer will play a journalist, and Wain will play an acquaintance of a main character from an Israeli kibbutz.
The new faces join returning star and showrunner Michael Showalter, along with Elizabeth Banks, Bradley Cooper, Michael Ian Black, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, H. John Benjamin, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Nina Hellman, Ken Marino, Zak Orth, Joe Lo Truglio, Christopher Meloni, A.D. Miles, Marguerite Moreau, Marisa Ryan, Kevin Sussman, Pierce, and Shannon.
