What to Watch Tonight: Orphan Black, the Season Finale of American Grit, and A&E's Streets of Compton Documentary

What to watch on Thursday, June 9...

6:30pm, Cartoon Network
The Powerpuff Girls
What’s this? The Amoeba Boys impishly instigating insanity on the internet? Can Bubbles hack her superpowered sisters into the system to stymie the scamps’ shenanigans? Tune in to “Viral Spiral” to find out—same Powerpuff-time, same Powerpuff-channel!

8pm, Spike
Lip Sync Battle
Star Trek co-stars Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto set their phasers to “stun…ning lip sync performance!” Ha, no but seriously, if those things aren’t calibrated properly they could put a small elephant down for like 12 hours.

SEASON 1 FINALE, 8pm, Fox
American Grit
The final teams contend with four intensive obstacles before the final competition in the two-hour season capper. They’re so intensive that even attempting to write descriptions gave me a hernia for which I expect robust workers’ compensation pay.

DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE, 9pm, A&E
Streets of Compton
The Game guides this chronicle of the Los Angeles suburb’s history, as both a city plagued by criminal activity and a home to enormous talents such as N.W.A. and Venus and Serena Williams. The first two parts air tonight, with the conclusion airing next Thursday, June 16.

9pm, The CW
Beauty and the Beast
“Beast Interrupted” finds Cat and Vincent on the trail of a black market buyer of beasts, even while they must safeguard an heiress whose identity was spilled.

10pm, Comedy Central
Inside Amy Schumer
Sketches in “Everyone for Themselves” see Amy visiting her gynecologist, fretting over her baby’s attitude, and seeking help for her lizard.

10pm, BBC America
Orphan Black
In the wake of Susan Duncan’s defenestration, Sarah and Rachel forge an uneasy alliance. Meanwhile in “The Mitigation of Competition,” Cosima and Susan clash over the ethics of human experimentation, Alison and Donnie’s lawyer turns a suspicious eye on Felix, and Helena’s arrival leaves Felix in a tough spot.
