I'm not a body language expert, but judging from the promotional photo above, something tells me that Skye's reunion with her mysterious father in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fall finale wasn't exactly filled with rainbows and emotional hugs. I guess that's just what happens when your daughter knows you're a murderer. Still, Ward kept his promise to Skye, so, um, I'm not really sure what that means going forward. Probably nothing? I mean, Ward is also a murderer. But I digress.
What I do know is that "What They Become" brought us a long-awaited S.H.I.E.L.D. vs. Hydra showdown! ABC's press materials claimed that said showdown would "dramatically alter everyone's fates." Well, did it? Is YOUR fate changed as a result of watching the episode? The verdict is still out on mine because I'm still finishing my review, but go ahead and hit the comments with your thoughts. Also, please tell the rest of the class how you intend to weather S.H.I.E.l.D.'s winter hiatus. Will you be watching Marvel's Agent Carter? Will you be knitting yourself some Hydra socks?
